His Highness the Crown Prince Is Perfect Again Today

Yuan Zhao transmigrates into a book and becomes its Crown Prince.

In the book, the Empress and Emperor married when they were young. But the Empress came from an ordinary background, and her family had no one to carry on its legacy. Surrounded by powerful rivals in the harem, she walked on eggshells, so she secretly placed all her hopes on the Crown Prince, wanting him to outshine all the other princes and become the Emperor's most outstanding son.

This would bring glory to her family and preserve her own prestige as Empress.

The Crown Prince wore himself out and eventually ruined his health, dying young and becoming the son the Emperor would forever cherish as his lost treasure.

But Yuan Zhao, who had transmigrated into the story, took one look at the Perfect Crown Prince Development System bound to him and said, "Mother, have you ever seen the Forbidden City at three in the morning?"

The Empress: !

The Empress: Please, Mother is begging you, Zhao'er, take a break. Go play for a while, all right? We at least need to get some sleep!

The Emperor is often harsh with the Crown Prince, while showing his other sons a little more affection. Yuan Zhao beats up the other princes and doesn't show the Emperor any deference either.

Old ministers and members of the imperial clan: The Crown Prince really knows how to butter people up. He's exactly like His Majesty when he was young.

The Imperial Uncle settles it with one remark: This boy takes after his father!

The Emperor: ...

The Crown Prince is absolutely perfect today, too.

Theme: Look at things from a different angle, and maybe they won't seem so difficult.
