Gender-swapped Tomie Kawakami X gender-swapped Osamu Dazai

I feel like the characters are out of character and a little weird. The romance also develops way too quickly and doesn't feel natural enough.
In Bungo Stray Dogs, Tomie is an ability user.
Tomie was originally an ordinary person. When he was killed, his ability, "Junji Ito Masterpiece Collection," awakened, trapping him in a death loop where living was worse than dying. As the cycle repeated, his sense of life and death began to blur. He gradually adapted to the loop and became the monster Tomie.
In Chiko's eyes, he is pitiful. She can see him, malformed and weeping beneath the monster's skin. Trapped in a hopeless dead end, he cannot even choose death as a release. Mr. Mori wants a diamond, so she cannot truly set Tomie free by letting him die, but she can give the other Tomies a quick death.
In Tomie's eyes, she is release, an ending, and a source of fear. He longs for her love, yet trembles with fear when she comes close.
Personally, I think they're a great pairing.
Unfortunately, romance is a huge challenge for me, and I may not have managed to write it at all.
