[Genshin Impact + Honkai: Star Rail] A Simulator, but with Treasure Hoarders

Silly version:

Dropped into the world as a Treasure Hoarder, with a simulator and no idea what this other world is like, Ming Chong says: "This could be fun."

What does it take to join the Treasure Hoarders?

Ming Chong throws up his arms and shouts: "Our motto is..."

TAKE. IT. ALL!

He passes by Venti, the wind spirit, the Holy Lyre der Himmel, Cecilia flowers, a Gnosis, debuffs...

He picks one up. A wind spirit? I'll keep it.

He passes by Dvalin, dancing with an Abyss Mage, and steals him.

The white-haired Salt God about to be assassinated?

Stolen.

The Adepti of Liyue: Stop! You can't just steal that!

Ming Chong, who's resisting the Heavenly Principles and working to snap the Irminsul in two, turns around: "Did someone just say I'm handsome?"

He swings his shovel: "Never mind, I'm taking everything!"

The clever grass of a certain scribe? Taking it!

A defeated Liyue demon god? Dig it up and take it!

The Skyfrost Nail? Put it back together and take it!

A chest from the Fragmentum labyrinth? Take it!

A talking magic bottle from the desert? Take it!

Albedo's match-three game? Take it!

Coleoptera bugs, Inazuman puppets, the Tatarasuna blacksmith's cowlick, the Hydro Archon's little cakes, the little mushrooms and soft lanterns from the House of the Hearth, a Vidyadhara dragon lord, a black-and-white-haired cowboy and his daughter, the Peacock siblings...

Ming Chong waves a hand. "I picked them all up!"

Serious version:

Ming Chong is one of the rare people who arrives in Teyvat in person. Starting out with the Treasure Hoarders, he knows nothing about this world, and only later realizes that supernatural powers exist here.

A master thief who can steal anything?

A God of Theft?

Or a god of mischief and deceit?

The titles people give him reflect their different opinions.

"Title: Phantom Thief? Chivalrous Thief?"

"They say there was once a thief who could steal away the sick person's illness, the poor person's poverty, and the adult's numbness..."

"Title: The One with the Answers"

"Between reason and emotion, he is by no means empty."

"Title: Thief Sage"

"When the art of thievery is disgraced, a mighty warrior always descends from the heavens."

Content warnings:

1. No pairing, but there are misleading rumors, forum posts, and the like.

2. The protagonist is weak from the start, but becomes invincible before long.

3. The protagonist loves causing trouble and putting on a show. He's a bit of a fun-seeker.

4. Forum posts don't represent the author's views! They mainly add information not found in the main story. Netizens have all kinds of opinions. The main story is friendly toward A-San, but not toward Scara fans. Thanks for understanding.

5. The author is a fan of the whole cast! I have at least some affection for every character I write about. Feel free to skip any characters you don't like.

6. Besides the main plot, I'll also cover lots of side stories, such as Tsurumi Island, the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, Aranyaka, and the Desert quests... I rarely see anyone write about these, so I'm making my own content because I can't find enough to read.

P.S. The anti-piracy cutoff is 60%.
