Synopsis
I was born with an illness that prevents immortals from cultivating. My mother goddess passed away long ago, and my father god doesn't want to see me. Only a little crow is willing to play with me. I know it only plays with me because of the diseased aura around me, but I don't care. I just want a living creature to keep me company...
After I came of age, the diseased aura grew more severe. I think I understand why my father doesn't want to see me now, and I also know how I got this illness. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do...
Beep beep, high-intensity will to survive detected. Welcome to the Causality World, Corrector No. ?
Mist swirled around me, and I entered another world. A panel suddenly appeared, telling me that as long as I corrected the world's timeline, I could obtain a special medicine to cure myself. All right, then. I'll make a little effort.
Causality Law System Internal Forum
Corrector No. 5: Thirty years, and this System that's been playing dead is finally letting in new people? There are actually still people who love their work this much?
…Only later did they learn that this wasn't a newcomer, but the Creator. The world fragments roared in anticipation of Their return, and fragments of causal weapons reappeared across time and space. The System's once-in-several-centuries celebration was held for no other reason than Them.
First Encounter · The Starting Point in My Memories: The Town of Living Beings, The streets are full of monstrosities assembled from various body parts. A red light shines once a day, and people suddenly mutate without warning. Why are these ordinary townsfolk killing one another?
Meeting Again · A Tender Moment in a Fragment: Yangliao Entertainment Co., Ltd., Music rings out in the dead of night, a trainee suddenly disappears, and a senior's dancing skills suddenly improve by leaps and bounds... "Ding-dong." "Xiao Zhuo, I'm here to teach you how to dance." Why does the senior always knock on the trainees' doors at midnight?
…I don't know how many times I made corrections, how many times we reunited, or how many worlds I entered. Perhaps my illness was cured long ago. Perhaps I was never ill at all. But it seems I can't leave all this behind. I can no longer change the habits I've formed, nor forget those I've lost.
System: Congratulations, Corrector ???, on obtaining the achievement ????
A Note from the Author
· The main story is written in third person.
· This is a fictional setting. Any resemblance to real names is purely coincidental.
· The entire plot is made up by the author and has no reference value.
· The blurb may change at any time, and the small worlds may change too, but the protagonist's background and the ending will not.
· So far, I've only planned one small world. I feel like my writing is terrible, so I might not start this book first. I have a bunch of other stories in my backlog that I haven't released yet. I'll see which one comes most easily and publish that one.
· Actually, I can't start it anytime soon anyway. I'll wait until I've finished stockpiling the whole book before starting it. (Picking at my fingers)
· Please forgive my inadequate writing skills. orz
