Broken Mirror, Mended Hearts | School Life + City Life | Healing | Ensemble Cast
Cool and well-behaved & rebellious and devoted
When Ming Xi was eighteen, her mother died of an illness. She transferred schools and moved to a remote little town to live with her grandmother.
On her first day in Qinwu, she ran into a rude, unreasonable unlicensed taxi driver. Just as she felt helpless, a cold voice rang out. Ming Xi turned around and saw Chen Du standing behind her, silhouetted against the light.
Afterward, Chen Du took her home. When her grandmother introduced them, she merely smiled and said, "Technically, you should call him Cousin."
Ming Xi looked utterly confused. She had no idea what kind of relative he was supposed to be.
Chen Du was a careless drifter who was rarely home, a delinquent in the eyes of outsiders.
But because of one remark from Grandma Chen, two people who had never crossed paths began to rely on each other.
The old courtyard house next door was always dark, dilapidated like a wasteland abandoned years ago.
Until one day, its owner began to look out for her.
Unfortunately, one mishap followed another. Winter was setting in, and snow covered the entire county.
The day she left was beautiful. The girl lifted her chin slightly, tears glistening in her tea-colored eyes, and struggled to ask, "I'm leaving. Won't you give me a hug?"
Chen Du looked away, pretending to be indifferent. "Forget it."

They met again years later.
Ming Xi had been back in the country for a week when a friend invited her to a bar to celebrate her return.
In the noisy, flickering room, the air thick with intoxicating alcohol, she looked up and met Chen Du's gaze beneath the lights on the second floor.
Ming Xi stiffened, her breathing instantly thrown into disarray. Something inside her shattered, and a glass fell, breaking across the floor.
The moment Chen Du saw with his own eyes that Ming Xi had returned, his blood began to boil. When he saw her leave, he chased after her almost without thinking.
The first snow began to fall, flakes drifting softly down.
The scene was almost exactly like that year. Ming Xi stood on the street, trembling as she picked up her phone. In an instant, the man pulled her fiercely into his arms.
Chen Du's eyes were red, and his voice caught in his throat. Ming Xi buried her face in his chest and smelled the faint scent of alcohol on him. Her eyes immediately grew hot with tears.
Premise: Life stretches out before us like an open wilderness
The hero is here!!!
"After all, this is a small place like theirs that was transferred from the capital city." Neither the teacher nor the heroine herself said that they were transferred from the capital city.
Hahahahahaha cousin
The author's emotional scenes inspired by the movie are interesting, but I am also looking forward to the new memes 🐶
I really like watching men cry [covering face and laughing and crying] [covering face and laughing and crying] [covering face and laughing and crying] [covering face and laughing and crying] Can the author write more details? Hahahaha
I especially like to read stories about the heroine having money and the hero having no money. The novel is so exciting for me hahaha 🐶
"He" gave the author a big worm~ it's her
"No. 2 Middle School" is a big thorn in the side of the author~
"Buddha" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ whisk
I finished reading it overnight. The plot is good, but sometimes the end of each chapter ends abruptly and then it's time to move on to the next one. I still want to see more plots.
