A coup gave rise to two turning points.
The noble princess was cast into the mortal world, forging a fearsome reputation as the Red Witch with crimson thorns.
Meanwhile, the princess's favorite personal maid was swept off to another country, where she took up a sword and became a pope.
They were once the most intimate people in each other's lives, but now they each stand on opposite sides, growing distant from one another.
"Is that so?" The Red Witch, once a princess, gave a casual smile, restrained fury in her eyes.
She watched the pope's detached, compassionate expression, then leaned back against the throne and said softly but firmly, "But this situation..."
"I refuse."

Reader's Guide:
1. A Western fantasy setting, but not Japanese-style Western fantasy. It leans medieval, with magic and a touch of cosmic horror.
2. A plot-driven serious drama, with a 60/40 split between plot and romance. Romance makes up 40 percent. Two strong leads, both taking the initiative; strictly one-on-one, with a love-hate relationship.
3. My own worldbuilding. Although men exist in this world, I promise that all important supporting characters are women. (Yes, even characters who seem to be men at first will have a twist. I don't want to spoil anything, so I can't explain too much. Nervous.jpg)
4. Both heroines have career and character-development arcs.
Theme: Though my body dwells in darkness, my heart faces the light
Are you going to stop writing this book? It's very well written, I want to see the princess' revenge! I feel like I could write about some of the friends I met on the way to revenge. Would it be more interesting if it was a little similar to a group portrait (but that's just my idea). I also want to read more and continue writing 🐰
If anyone is following up, come on.
Is the mouse a narrative device?
I think the rhythm is very good, come on
