After transmigrating to a world of magic, Xin Lin has spent three years studying at the finest magic school in the world. All he has to do in his final year is complete a magical journey to earn his diploma. Then he can land a stable job with a government position and a bright future ahead of him.
But thanks to being out of the loop, Xin Lin failed to find teammates in advance. Now, looking at the people he has been assigned to team up with, he falls into deep thought.
A dragon princess with a disability, a vampire girl with a spoiled young lady's temper, a silver-tongued young lord of the merfolk, and an eccentric elf. Add Xin Lin, an ordinary human, and that's five different races.
Their graduation trip requires them to visit every teammate's hometown and complete at least one level-three adventure quest at the local guild.
In the space of a year, Xin Lin must lead this splintered, infamous team of problem students across half a continent to complete five quests that are nearly impossible for them.
Xin Lin: "...Just destroy the world already."
That's why he hates group projects the most!
Later
A legendary team unlike any before or since appeared at Moros School. In just one year, they traveled across half a continent and even wiped out an ancient dark organization that had been entrenched for a thousand years. When this team, having achieved such great glory, gave an interview:
Dragon princess: "Oh, we owe it all to our captain!"
Vampire young lady: "Hmph. I have to admit, that weak human is pretty capable."
Young lord of the merfolk: "You don't know our captain. He's a great human blessed and kissed by the goddesses of wisdom and fortune. He..."
Eccentric elf: "I thought I was the odd one out among elves, until I met him."
Everyone: "?"
Just who is your captain, anyway?
Exhausted Xin Lin: "At first, I really just wanted to graduate."
