Jiang Li had a very difficult childhood, but after a turn of fortune, he inherited the throne and finally turned his life around. Before he could enjoy a life of extravagance and indulgence, though, he accidentally opened the door to a new world and arrived among the insect race.
Jiang Li doesn't have any particular talents, but he does have a knack for acting. Otherwise, he couldn't have played a benevolent ruler who valued worthy people in front of his court officials and tricked them into swearing loyalty to him, or a filial son who personally tasted his dying father's medicine and tricked him into handing over the throne. Given a second life, he no longer has to live cautiously. On the contrary, he can win everyone's support with ease.
Before he knows it, countless figures are prostrate at Jiang Li's feet. There's a gentle, steadfast neurologist, a decorated insect-race major general, a sinister and enigmatic tycoon from the imperial capital... Countless insects risk everything to win Jiang Li's love.
