[Saint and Daisy]

Lin Daiyu had an incredibly vivid dream in which she became the grass atop the Stone Monkey's head.

To regain her human form, she followed the Stone Monkey and became a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi.

They strayed into the Illusory Realm of the Grand Void and entered various myths and traditional stories. Only by setting their broken storylines right could they be reborn and finally separate from each other.

[The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl]

When Daiyu opened her eyes, she was still bound to Sun Wukong, but she had become a lush green magpie, while he was a shaggy yellow ox.

"Monkey, I have to say, that's a nice coat. From now on, you won't be Monkey Head, you'll be Ox Head."

"I don't want to..."

[The Butterfly Lovers]

The two of them thought they would become a young manservant and a maid by Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai's side.

Lin Daiyu opened her eyes to find a woman shouting that she wanted to divorce her.

"If I stay with you, I'll starve to death sooner or later!"

"Um..."

Even her voice was inexplicably rough and hoarse.

"Tao Qian, I'm done serving you."

Tao Qian? Mr. Five Willows?

Lin Daiyu looked in the mirror and saw that she had become a middle-aged man. Sure enough, it was Tao Yuanming, who never knew where his next meal was coming from.

[Reading Guide]

1. Episodic story. The leads are always Sheng Dai. The original protagonists are not vilified, except in stories like Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.

2. Xue Baochai is not vilified.

3. There is basically no inner-courtyard scheming.

4. This blurb is provisional. When the drafted chapters reach the next world, I'll post a preview early.

5. The first world includes side plots such as Chang'e flying to the moon and Hou Yi shooting down the suns, so it won't be too short. (I was wrong. I didn't think it could really be this short.)

6. In the second world, Daiyu becomes a man and Brother Monkey becomes a woman. Don't read if that bothers you. The romance takes a long time to develop.

Theme: True affection can last through the years.
