Fairy tales always begin with the words: Once upon a time, deep in the forest...
After the world's countdown began, one day, a child's voice rang out from the sky screen: "Ding-dong! The fairy tale begins!"
People discovered that all the familiar fairy tales had changed.
There was a queen who asked her magic mirror, "Mirror, mirror, who is the fairest in the world?"
Ding-dong! Answer incorrectly and you'll be expelled~
There was a big bad wolf cooking his dinner. He sang, "Diddle-dee, diddle-dee, my dinner smells so good. What could it be~ What could it be~"
Ding-dong! Answer incorrectly and you'll become his dinner~
Deep in the forest, there was a survival handbook:
1. Forget the fairy tales, and remember: the more beautiful something is, the more dangerous it is.
2. Beware of "the people in hats." They're here for revenge.
3. Don't get curious about the secrets deep in the forest. They're very important.
4. …
All the players were terrified. Those worn out from fleeing came up with an idea: if we find that secret, maybe we can negotiate with the "rules"?
Everyone began searching for clues to the secret, hopeful that they would find it.
The child worker NPC everyone pitied, little Shi An, poked out his head. "Hey~ Were you calling me~ Could you help me find my diary?"
System 006 had a secret: it came from the future, and its mission was to save someone named "Shi An." It had arrived too late, though, and landed right at the scene of his death.
006 screamed, "Aaaah, no!!!" (panicking) (freaking out) (playing dead)
006 was frantic, but fortunately it caught some energy before it had completely dissipated. It carefully raised it. Beneath the great tree of the fairy-tale world, a System quietly raised a human child.
This family had plenty of problems, besides being poor.
The players in the fairy-tale world all knew that the tree called "An" was forbidden. Even breathing the air near it would get you hunted by the NPCs here.
They didn't know why, but all the players tacitly stayed away.
Then one day, a child named "Shi An" appeared in everyone's instance. The players were terrified and kept their distance, but they were also tempted by the items the child brought out.
One kind player tried to warn him: "Kid, why don't we change your name? This name is n... not good, and that hat of yours is also n... not good."
Shi An was young, but he knew his family was poor and that they had to be thrifty. He shouldn't complain. Six-Six already had it hard enough.
So the little child insisted on working with his blue hat on.
Some players worried about him while trying to figure out how to smuggle the child into the human world.
Others thought they were crazy. After all:
"How do you know he's really a child and not one of those BOSSes?"
"Because he's grown taller. He used to be this tall, and now he's this tall."
The person gestured to demonstrate.
A no-romance ensemble story about a pampered little one trying hard to be an NPC, and the two sets of parents going berserk and fighting each other after losing their child.
Real parent: Who would cooperate with the thing that kidnapped our child?
Fake parent: Who would cooperate with someone who can't even protect a child?
[PS: Haven't decided yet if it's rules or pollution. Everything else stays the same.]
