The Temple

A ruined church, a filthy stone floor.

The nun Lysandra wakes in the middle of the rubble.

This is God's punishment for the sins she committed in life.

Trapped in an afterlife where the sun will never shine, the devout Lysandra has not abandoned her faith. She must reach the holy sanctuary and complete her pilgrimage to cleanse the stains on her soul.

The female ghost Lunaris follows her and keeps watch over her penance.

Lysandra versus Lunaris

One-on-one, mutually faithful, happy ending.

Here's my ongoing long-form novel, Rabbit Cake and Bear Cookies. Welcome to read it, meow.
