She Only Does Absurd Things, She Doesn't Love Me

Originally titled The Absurd Couple [Not your traditional marriage-first, love-later / eating cliches for every meal / master of snappy comebacks / shut-in man and woman / people who talk past each other comedy / the kind of person who tells you to eat shit when you're hungry...] [Deadpan, secretly flirtatious programmer x openly flirtatious, eccentric government employee] [Unconventional gamer x severely infected with tacky reaction memes, wicked bowl-cut] [Too many titles to list x we're both much of a muchness, so neither of us can talk] [Hopeless romantic man x stubborn mule woman] The woman Fu Yu fell in love with at first sight had a strange quirk. She believed in turning life into a joke, treating jokes as philosophy, and philosophy as nothing but a pile of dog shit. She also loved making up outrageous stories. Tang Ke's bargain-bin husband was a deadpan man who often wore a lifeless expression, but he had a little flirtatious mole at the corner of his eye. It made her say everything to him, turning him into both her confidant and her greatest problem. Reading notes: 1. A short, fluffy story with little literary merit and lots of complicated jokes. You can't lose by giving it a try. 2. Mostly everyday life, a little romance. In the end, the feelings are mutual, and all's well that ends well. 3. No angst throughout, but there are unfunny cold jokes, so dress warmly. 4. A childish romance and marriage, with some logic, but not much. 5. Workplace-slave story, with poor overworked laborers. 6. I'll add more if I think of anything... - The full manuscript of my new novel, A Down-at-Heels Apron, is in progress!
