Flowers on the Bone

[Unhinged gong vs. unhinged shou]

My young love turned his gaze toward me, and I felt as if I had been thrown into a rosebush. Thorns pierced my skin, and blood poured from me.

When love is tainted with poison, when two people embrace until their bones groan in pain,

I know I have nowhere left to run.

“I love you.” A lash mark.

“I love you.” A desperate escape.

“Who is it you really love?” His voice echoed in my ear.

The man who kept me for four years, coiling around my neck like a venomous snake as he coldly persecuted me and stole my life, wore a familiar smile. His tender affection was like the moon in a dream, or flowers reflected in water.

Of course it's my young love.

Mine.

“Kiss me one more time.” I stared at the man's vulnerable face, curling my lips into a smile as I held out my bloodstained hands.

As if I were the demon myself.

“Beneath that poplar tree lies a corpse.”

P.S.

1. Shou-focused (important), one-on-one pairing (important).

2. The blurb is from the first story. This is a collection of very, very short story ideas, with new stories added from time to time (important).

3. My friend helped write the blurb. Special thanks! Mwah~~

4. An early, melodramatic writing style. I might revise it later, if I'm not too lazy.

Theme: A love that destroys them both, and the determination to hold on until awakening
