Dragons all love glittering things like gold coins and jewels, and Aishida was no exception.
So her treasure hoard held pile after pile of gold coins and jewels, stacked like little mountains.
When dragons come of age, they all have to fly off to a human kingdom and abduct a princess. Then they wait for a human hero to come rescue her, acting out the tale of a hero battling a dragon. Aishida was no exception.
So she flew across mountains and seas and abducted the most handsome, elegant, dazzling prince in the human kingdom, bringing him back to her cave.
What she didn't know was that this prince had another, nonhuman identity:
The God of Light.

After realizing she'd kidnapped the wrong person, Aishida learned her lesson and decided to go abduct a real human prince instead. But the moment she flew out of the divine realm, Ilays seized her and took her back to the temple.
The God of Light's hair, bright as scattered gold, fell beside his ears. A faint smile suddenly bloomed on his solemn face, cold as ice. He caught the tip of her tail before she could pull it away and leaned down.
"Aixi, ordinary humans can't handle you." His hand slowly traced up her fiery red scales. "But... I can."
