I heard the son who went missing ten years ago has been found by the neighbors.
As usual, Yun Yue went to visit her childhood friend that weekend.
Her friend sat stiffly on the sofa, watching TV with a stern expression.
What's wrong with him today? Is he upset?
Yun Yue ran over and took the boy's hand.
Her eyes curved like crescent moons as she smiled sweetly. "Let's go play!"
He let her pull him to his feet, and just as they reached the door, they ran into Lu Yao coming home.
The two boys looked exactly alike. She froze in shock, looking back and forth between the person behind her and her childhood friend.
Lu Yao glanced at the clothes his brother was wearing, then stared at their joined hands. Clearly angry, he called her by her full name. "Well, aren't you something."
Yun Yue and Lu Yao had grown up together. That was the first time they ever fought.
During the summer break of their second year of high school, Lu Yao celebrated Yun Yue's birthday.
But she told him, "I think... I've fallen for your brother."
Lu Yao stared at her for a long time. "You know I hate him, right? If you get together with him, we're done."

After graduating, Lu Yao went abroad and completely lost touch with Yun Yue.
He didn't hear what had become of her until four years later.
Yun Yue's father had been jailed for financial crimes, their villa had been auctioned off, and the family had disappeared without a trace.
And Yun Yue had already broken up with his brother.
Lu Yao rushed back. On the table was the birthday present he'd received when he turned eighteen, with a note tucked underneath.
"Don't be mad anymore. You'll always be my best friend."
Lu Yao searched for her for a whole year.
The next time he saw her, she was in his brother's bed.
She walked over with her clothes in disarray, smiling with crinkled eyes as she took his hand and pouted, "What took you so long...?"
