Synopsis
Hello, dear readers. This is an apology message: I'm sorry, everyone. I originally planned to start posting in September, but postponed it to early October. I also wanted to keep myself accountable, so I settled on October 13. The outline, survival-game design, plot choices, character profiles, and the main couple are all decided, and I have some chapters banked. But the opening was so hard to write that I've already drafted several versions, and after half a month I still haven't built up much of a backlog. I scrapped the original draft, which means I'm basically starting over.
I understand the principle of finishing first and perfecting later, but I really do need more time to get past this. I came up with a survival game myself and wrote this story around it, and only after actually writing it did I realize how difficult it would be. You can't tell that the pacing and the appearance of supplies are problematic until you write further ahead. Once you notice, you have to go back and revise the earlier chapters. As a result, I scrapped at least fifty or sixty thousand words of drafts. If I start posting on the 13th, I might have no backlog at all and have to post as I write, with an inconsistent update schedule and even more inconsistent quality. So I've decided to delay the launch a little. But I will definitely start posting in October, or by the first half of November at the latest. I'm not working on any other projects, just this one.
If any of you are really waiting for this story, that makes me so happy. I want to get it out there soon and meet you, too. But since I'm having trouble with the writing, I have to solve those problems and build up a little backlog first, even if it's only thirty or fifty thousand words. If you've been waiting but don't want to anymore, that's okay. I'm sure we'll still meet when I start posting. I just really want to say I'm sorry.
Wen Xi, in a wheelchair, was thrown into the worldwide survival game, Eternal Night.
The sun has vanished, and darkness is swallowing the earth. From the start, each person gets a light source with only 24 hours of power.
Step into the darkness, and you become a monster.
Assigned to the forest zone, the frail Wen Xi sprang up from his wheelchair.
He temporarily regained his health during the beginner period.
While everyone else was crying and panicking, he was already busy gathering his first batch of discarded materials and launching his campaign to protect his health!
Light fires scientifically, communicate boldly, trade for supplies, and be the first to explore the darkness.
A torch that lets players venture out of their shelters into the dark, a soft vine chair that restores stamina, a miraculous "wait-by-the-stump" trap...
Everything he made was a hit. He made a fortune, and expanded his shelter from a three-meter circle of light into a huge, secure fortress.
He cleared land and farmed, raising a kitten that soothed the mind and a giant wolf that guarded the home and protected its master.
He dug and gathered in the forest, hoarding supplies until his warehouse was packed full. He even made time to create and sell adventure books, benefiting the entire zone.
Life grew more and more comfortable, and his health problems had long since been resolved. Now he could kill a giant mutated wolf with one punch.
The only headache was managing his home. Far too many people wanted to trade in Sunshine Town.

Everyone thought this survival game was sadistic. Every item, even the safe houses, had to be crafted by hand. Where were all these wilderness survival experts supposed to come from?
At the start, you got a construction hammer and had to craft everything yourself. A 30-rated axe with a durability of 20 broke after chopping down one tree, perfectly demonstrating what it meant to have your finances go into the red.
Players: ******
[Player Wen Xi listed High-Quality Stone Axes *10]
The players who'd been cursing the game all stopped. A 100-rated axe! My hands are shaking. Hurry and let me grab one!

Qin Ye, the youngest commander in Yuxia, was born into one of the inner city's most powerful families and had a brilliant future ahead of him.
The month after receiving his commendation, he volunteered to serve as the administrator of the outer city.
The new administrator was iron-fisted, domineering, cold, and taciturn. Wen Xi instinctively felt somewhat resistant to him, but was also drawn to his healthy, powerful, vigorous body and couldn't help sneaking glances.
Not long afterward, Eternal Night arrived. He put the matter out of his mind and diligently stockpiled supplies, doing his best to survive and protect his health.
In the game, he met a powerful but guileless big shot who was quiet but always got things done. This big shot would always pay extra when they traded. So generous, but what a spendthrift!
After meeting him in person, Wen Xi decided to fall in love.
^_^
A sunny, frail, beautiful bottom with a deep-seated desire for control X a taciturn, devoted top who silently dotes on him
A clever bottom, an expert on wilderness survival on paper and a gatherer of nature's bounty X a top who is older, iron-fisted, the strongest fighter, and blessed with a healthy liver and kidneys
Other notes:
1. 1v1, each other's first love, happy ending. The top has a crush on the bottom. It's one-sided at first, then becomes sweet and mutual later on.
2. The gameplay may be a bit of a hodgepodge. The focus is survival, stockpiling, farming, construction, and exploring a huge map, with cute pets and a few fantasy NPCs.
3. The top appears early, but at first they are simply trading and cooperating.
Theme: Beneath the eternal night, the brilliance of human nature shines.
