Blurb:
A frail young shopkeeper lives at the bookstore in the south of the city. Recently, they married a new husband, and the whole city is buzzing with the news.
The reason is simple: unlike the willowy, delicate husbands in other households, this new husband is terrifying just to look at. Everyone shakes their heads and feels sorry for the shopkeeper, who has ended up with such a formidable husband. The shopkeeper was already in poor health. How could they possibly handle this?
They even saw a handsome, unmarried man chatting with the shopkeeper for a while, and the husband standing nearby looked ready to swallow him whole.
Then some fool who didn't know better advised the shopkeeper to take a few more husbands. When the new husband heard, he flew into a rage. If the shopkeeper hadn't held him back with their frail body, that person's house might have been smashed to pieces.
Yet at night, behind closed doors and shut windows, the man who seemed ready to devour someone during the day kneels obediently beside the bed. He appears terribly anxious, afraid that the person he loves will grow sick of him. Looking up at the frail shopkeeper in bed, his eyes are full of nothing but meek love. His voice hoarse, he begs,
"Wife... Yu Lang knows he was wrong."
An emotionless, desireless sickly beauty x a sinister, volatile, utterly devoted guard dog
