The Vongola's Everyday Slacking

Graduating straight into unemployment, Matsumori, a layabout, runs into a former middle school classmate. Her classmate has since become a junior executive at an Italian company, and thanks to his helpful referral, Matsumori gets hired at the foreign firm through connections. Matsumori's mind races: I get it. We Japanese help other Japanese. We'll collect our pay without doing any work and bleed those lousy Italians dry! The junior executive, Yamamoto Takeshi, smiles cheerfully, confirming her suspicions. Italy may be far from her home, but the paycheck is close to her heart. Staring at the figures on her contract, Matsumori swears she will keep the secret that she's not a Japanese girl forever, right in front of everyone. She is determined to pass herself off as one! * Having mastered workplace social maneuvering, Matsumori only vents about the boss to the other Japanese intern, so the crafty Italians can't report her to the higher-ups. Matsumori: My work sugar daddy just ordered me to arrange vouchers remotely. He's a total psycho. Does he not understand that a salary earned through hard work is what I'm entitled to, while getting paid without working is what makes money? Japanese intern Sawada Tsunayoshi: ...You're right. I'll arrange them for you. Matsumori: One day, we Japanese will take the highest seats in this foreign company! Sawada Tsunayoshi: ...Yeah, that day definitely exists :) A few things to note: * This is a peaceful, everyday workplace fairy tale. Please don't hold the female lead to high moral standards. Matsumori's life goal is to lie flat and collect a salary without working. * This is old-school Mary Sue fiction, very much so. Supporting characters may be hopeless romantics, and there may not be a traditional male lead. * Leave lots of comments. Matsumori will refer everyone to the Vongola to collect a salary without working. Panda girls help panda girls, love. Theme: Wherever my heart finds peace is my home.
