Synopsis
When Yan Chu was six, both his parents died, and he was taken in by his childhood friend Xu Yichuan's family. Xu Yichuan was six years older. Yan Chu followed him around like a little tail, sweetly calling him "big brother" for over a decade.
Yan Chu had always been lively and outgoing, wanting to try everything. Whether it was horseback riding and fencing, watering his brother's money tree to death, exploring his sexuality, or dating boys and girls, Xu Yichuan supported and indulged him in everything.
Then one day, a friend of his pointed out a shocking fact: "Have you noticed that every person you've dated... looks a little like Brother Xu?"
Yan Chu compared their photos, had a sudden realization, and was horrified. "My brother is just my brother. Don't read too much into it."
No matter what, he would never fall for Xu Yichuan!
But soon afterward, an even more shocking fact came to light.
...Why did it seem like Xu Yichuan liked him?
-
Ever since he was a child, Xu Yichuan had been the kid everyone else's parents wished they had. Under the weight of everyone's expectations, he was destined to be the best and come first if he wanted even a word of praise from his parents.
When he was twelve, his parents entrusted him with a child.
Xu Yichuan looked at the timid little bundle, wrapped head to toe in bandages, and thought it was just another task he had to carry out.
He bent down, held out his hand to Yan Chu, and said gently, "Hello, Chuchu. From now on, I'll be your big brother."
-
Year by year, Yan Chu grew into a dazzlingly handsome young man. But an carefree little ball of sunshine was bound to attract countless covetous looks.
Since Yan Chu was Xu Yichuan's childhood friend, whom he had raised himself, of course Xu Yichuan should do his utmost to protect him.
So he arranged for bodyguards to report Yan Chu's whereabouts at all times, vetted all the friends he spent time with, and even introduced him to romantic prospects Xu Yichuan had personally selected...
When Yan Chu looked at him with complete trust, Xu Yichuan could only give him the smile he knew best.
Whatever he did to Yan Chu was only natural, because he had to be the perfect big brother to him.
That's all.
-
(A little bonus scene after they start dating)
Yan Chu sighs. "I have one dream I can't fulfill in this life: getting stopped by the receptionist outside your private elevator."
Xu Yichuan looks up from his documents, puzzled.
Yan Chu immediately perks up. "That's how CEO romance novels always go! The heroine has just gotten together with the CEO hero, and the receptionist is new and doesn't recognize her. She arrogantly stops the heroine and says, 'You don't have an appointment. The CEO won't see you.'"
Xu Yichuan can more or less guess what comes next.
Yan Chu complains, "Then the CEO personally comes downstairs to get her and gives the receptionist a face-slapping... But your receptionist just says, 'Hello, Young Master,' and gives me snacks."
Xu Yichuan nods and starts opening a snack.
Yan Chu chatters on. "I'm not saying the receptionist is bad. She's really nice to me, but this isn't fun at all..."
Before he can come up with any more wild ideas, Xu Yichuan deftly stuffs his mouth with a snack.

Talkative, innocent, silly puppy shou with a jumping train of thought x childhood-friend big brother gong with overwhelming possessiveness. Older gong, both sexually inexperienced, one-on-one.
Warnings:
1. Both are sexually inexperienced. The supposed boyfriends and girlfriends were all deliberately chosen by the gong and introduced to the shou. Nothing intimate happened between them; they were more like good friends.
2. The gong's values are somewhat warped, and he really is very possessive. The shou has a slight everyone-loves-him tendency and is a naive, easily fooled dummy. Their love is an odd kind of pure romance, with most likely no coercion.
3. The gong and shou are childhood friends, with the gong six years older; there's a slight raising-the-child element. The gong only shifts from familial affection to romantic feelings after the shou comes of age. Please go easy on me, I beg you. (Raises a white flag.)
4. The gong and shou are both clearly into each other, but the gong has been scheming for a long time and definitely likes the shou more.
5. The gong dotes on the shou, the little sweet bun at the heart of this story. He's a silly, happy, sunny puppy!
6. A bedtime sweet treat with little plot and no brains. The content is completely made up, so don't read too much into it!
7. More warnings may be added later.
Theme: Learn to love yourself
