Lanzhou Du: the finest hope, to let down one's hair tomorrow and set out in a small boat.
Xing Jian has no past or future; she exists only to become a god.
She went to great lengths to enter the body of the rumored all-around excellent Third Master Ye. So, is she Xing Jian or Ye Heng? She questions herself constantly, but doesn't dare probe too deeply.
When Ye Heng was young, her goal was to become the foremost among the noble clans. Later, she wanted to be a princess like her mother, one who could lead troops into battle and serve her country. In the end, she failed at everything. Since that was the case, she would strive to become a god and see what it would take to have complete control over herself.
Seeing a mountain as merely a mountain and water as merely water is not some profound state of enlightenment. It is simply that I brought only my eyes to look at this world. All of it, myself included, is merely an object of observation.
What is the world? What am I?
The Dao is the principle that explains existence in the world. Buddhism is the same: everyone has their own principle in their heart.
Core message: Everyone is born with meaning.
