A Little Celestial's Promotion Diary [Journey to the West Focus]

The Moon Palace's authority extends beyond managing the celestial maidens and jade rabbits, and pounding medicine to ward off evil. It also governs the Five Sacred Mountains, the Four Great Rivers, the Five Lakes and Four Seas, the water palaces of the Twelve Streams, and the many offices of Fengdu's Mount Luo.

After Meng Yi transmigrated into the body of a little butterfly spirit in Beiju Luzhou, she worked hard at cultivation. Once she ascended to become an immortal, she took a post in the Moon Palace. Everyone said her roots were weak, and that her beauty made her perfect for taking up residence in Guanghan as one of Chang'e's immortal attendants, keeping the Jade Rabbit company and tending flowers and plants every day. What could be more carefree?

But Meng Yi had her own plans. After ascending, she had a wish that only a high-ranking position could grant. So she resolutely chose the Zhuoyu Palace, a post in the Moon Palace that regularly sent her on missions to the mortal realm to manage its waters, bringing her into frequent contact with demons and aquatic beasts, regardless of the danger.

There was no helping it. Working at Zhuoyu Palace could get her killed at any moment, but she could earn promotions through military achievements and rise to a high position.

Meng Yi wanted to lie flat too, but her abilities wouldn't allow it, especially after she offended Li Tianwang, who was obsessed with one's background and had a petty nature.

At a court assembly in Heaven, Li Tianwang mocked her weak roots, saying she was unfit for great responsibilities. Meng Yi refused to back down and retorted in front of everyone, "If we're talking about good fortune in Heaven, who could compare to you, Li Tianwang? You rose to prominence thanks to your son!"

After that, to keep this Heavenly King from pushing her around, Meng Yi worked even harder to get promoted and make a fortune. And to get revenge on the old geezer, she even won over his son.

Couple: Meng Yi × Nezha.

The heroine is based on the Blue Morpho butterfly. Pairing her with the Lotus Prince makes them the Butterfly Loves the Flower duo.
