Day Thirty-Two

First-person narrative.

-

I woke up among the ruins and couldn't remember anything. I only knew I had to find someone.

Who was this person? What was their name? Where was their home? What did they look like?

I knew none of it.

I only knew I had to find this person.

My flesh, my brain, my heart told me this person was important to me.

But I didn't know that I had killed this person before I even woke up.

Am I the killer? No, I'm not!

This person and I were both victims.

1. This story is entirely fictional.

2. It contains many invented settings, such as half-souls.

3. This is just something I wrote for fun. The oranges and the prison sentence are all made up, so there's no need to read too much into them.

4. A crybaby gong who's devoted to his wife.
