Song Youning is transported into a superpower action novel.
In the book, she's a cannon-fodder foil to the heroine. Though her powers rival the heroine's, she acts recklessly and dies horribly at the hands of the villainous BOSS.
Song Youning: Don't mind me. I'm out of here.
To avoid her death plotline, she decides to stay away from the heroine and the villainous BOSS. By chance, she rescues a girl lying amid the ruins.
The girl is covered in wounds, a pitiful mess, and her plea for help is barely more than a whisper.
Song Youning's heart softens, and she takes her home.
Two years pass. Song Youning has finally avoided her death plotline and is living a comfortable life. The little girl she took in has grown up healthy and radiant.
One day, she discovers that the girl she rescued looks exactly like the villainous BOSS who was supposed to kill her.
Song Youning: Help!!!
But the girl wraps her arms around Song Youning's waist. A powerful floral scent fills the air, and Song Youning loses consciousness.
When she opens her eyes again, the two of them are naked together. The girl is flushed, her eyes brimming with tears. “Big Sister, help me...”
Song Youning is horrified. The girl's slender finger presses against her lips. Her expression is innocent and pitiful, but her tone leaves no room for argument. “Shh. Don't say things I don't want to hear.”
After a night together, Ruan Weixi lies languidly, like a demon who has had her fill of life essence. Song Youning's hand is exhausted, nearly on the verge of tendonitis.
Even in her sleep, the girl murmurs, “Big Sister, don't reject me.”
Song Youning's anger flares. She reaches out and... pinches the girl's soft, pale cheek, gritting her teeth as she says:
“Give me a chance to reject you, then!”

Ruan Weixi was born into sin. Raised amid slaughter, she has long grown used to a world that rejects and neglects her, and she no longer hopes for even a little warmth.
But one person reaches out to her and gently says, “Don't cry. You're going to look like a little kitten.”
From then on, her world has light.
But the light is so dazzling that she can't help wanting it all for herself.
Every night, her flower buds bloom against her will. Each flower longs to draw close to Song Youning, but she struggles to suppress them, unwilling to overstep.
When she hears Song Youning say she's going to leave, Ruan Weixi can no longer hold back. She drugs Song Youning and does whatever she wants with her.
“See? I can't control myself. Big Sister should still leave.”
Tears cling to the corners of her eyes, but she thinks, “Besides, Big Sister can't beat me. She can't leave.”
“I can't do anything with you, can I? Stop crying.”
A gentle voice sounds beside her ear. In that moment, her world suddenly lights up.
Here's the blurb for a completed novel (catlike top × woman who loves fluffy things):
Song Jin has always been jealous of Duan Yan.
As a rising star, Song Jin always falls short of film and TV queen Duan Yan. This year, she finally gets to hold her head high: she wins an award Duan Yan failed to take home.
At the award ceremony, she holds up her trophy and throws a taunting look at the woman in the red dress among the guests. The other woman only smiles faintly, ignoring her hostility as though she were a child throwing a tantrum.
Award-winning Song Jin: So mad!!!
Before she can come up with a new scheme to outshine Duan Yan, she suddenly turns into an orange cat as she leaves the venue.
While trying to figure out how to contact her agent, she spots a gorgeous red skirt. It's Duan Yan.
Song Jin hatches a plan: I'll dig up some dirt on you. So she deigns to act cute in front of her nemesis, successfully charming Duan Yan, who takes her home with stars in her eyes.
That night, Song Jin crouches outside the bathroom, planning to find out how Duan Yan maintains her ageless skin so she can copy her routine.
Duan Yan finishes bathing and opens the door. At the sight of her, Song Jin stops breathing.
She's like a lotus fresh from the water...
Spellbound by her beauty, Song Jin swallows. Before she can react, Duan Yan's fragrant embrace sweeps her up, and in the blink of an eye she's on the bed. Wait, she hasn't learned her skincare secrets yet!
As the days pass, Song Jin uncovers no dirt at all. Instead, she gets herself into trouble.
Song Jin: Is this for real? JPG

Duan Yan has always loved fluffy animals, but they never seem to like her.
One day, an orange cat attaches itself to her. Its fur is so soft, and its meow so sweet. It's the cat of her dreams!
After confirming the cat has no owner, she takes it home, and begins a life of catering to her feline master's every whim.
It's fussier and more spoiled than other cats. It refuses to sleep in its cat bed and only wants to sleep with her. When it's happy, it meows; when it's unhappy, it bares its claws and hisses.
All that is perfectly normal, except that in certain ways, the cat makes her wonder if it used to be a pervert in its past life.
Every time she bathes, it waits outside the door. When she comes out, it stares at her blankly and likes to nuzzle all over her.
Good thing it's a cat. If it were a person, Duan Yan would have kicked it out long ago. Until one night, when she feels that the cat in her arms has changed.
She opens her eyes. Isn't that Song Jin, the nemesis who keeps shouting that she'll defeat her?
Duan Yan is startled and insists on taking her home, but Song Jin refuses to leave. Instead, she complains with complete confidence, “What, you sleep with me and now you don't want to take responsibility?”
“Can't I stay one last night?”
Looking into her watery eyes, Duan Yan inexplicably stops trying to kick her out and lets her stay the night.
She never expects Song Jin to cling to her from then on, insisting, “You promised me one last night. Yesterday was yesterday's last night, and today is today's.”
Duan Yan: Well, you have a point...
