Su Yiran is a food blogger who gets into a car accident on her way to a mountain location shoot.
When she opens her eyes, she has transmigrated.
Her new body belongs to the eldest daughter in the family, an orphan with no father or mother who single-handedly raised her younger sister. She gave all the leftover food to her sister, only to starve to death at home.
Looking at the three run-down thatched huts and the little turnip of a sister, so malnourished she can barely stand, Su Yiran sighs and rubs her forehead. Other people transmigrate into the bodies of princes and nobles or princesses and aristocratic ladies. She’s ended up in the poorest household in the village.
Su Yiran resolves that from now on, she’ll eat and drink well, live in a luxurious mansion, and lead her whole family to prosperity.
It doesn’t matter if the house is shabby. She can set up a food stall and earn copper coins. Osmanthus rice wine drink, squirrel-shaped fish, braised pork... Before she knows it, Su’s food stall has become famous, and people from all around come just to taste Lady Su’s cooking.
A story about feeding the whole family, reaching a comfortable standard of living, and making just a tiny bit of extra money along the way.
Reader’s Guide: 1. An alternate-history, cozy slice-of-life story about running a business and farming.
2. The male lead appears later. He seems like a mild-mannered scholar on the outside, but is rather cold inside. P.S. He falls for the heroine first.
3. Romance plays a small role, making up no more than one or two tenths of the story.
