When a zombie virus spreads through the city, Lin Yu is separated from his younger sister, Lin Yue, and sets out on a journey to find her.
Along the way, he meets companions: A Qiang and Xiao Mengmeng, a little girl who got lost. Together, they struggle to make their way through a city reduced to ruins. On top of enduring constant attacks from zombies and mutated creatures, they must also deal with all kinds of despicable people with ulterior motives.
By chance, they obtain a cure for the zombie virus, but are hunted down for it.
At last, they find an organization, only to discover that an even greater crisis lies ahead.
