Stubborn

Song Wanwan first met Pei Yanyi when she was in high school. Yanyi had a prickly temper, looked down on everyone, and didn't like talking to people. He even stole the top spot in her grade, then pulled a despicable stunt in chemistry, deliberately scoring just one point higher than her. Their love-hate rivalry changed after Qin Lu, her childhood friend, left.

"What, the school bully's gone. Who's going to protect you now?" When a girl tried to teach our Wanwan a lesson, Yanyi stepped forward:

"Me! From now on, I'll protect Song. Now get lost!"

He thought that once he'd driven off his rival, he and his little fairy could be together forever. But she'd been hiding the fact that she had a fiance!

Yanyi's stubborn streak took over, and he broke up with her again, without a second thought.

Well, being stubborn feels great in the moment, but chasing your wife afterward is hell. Two years later, when Wanwan reappeared as Mrs. Fu, she gave Yanyi a firsthand taste of heartbreak.

Then he was left utterly despairing.
