Ji Zhen, an overworked wage slave who died suddenly, closes her eyes and opens them again to find herself transmigrated into a melodramatic novel she'd once read. She's now a wealthy old matriarch, a throwaway character and the step-grandmother of the unhinged second male lead.
The step-grandmother helps the whole wealthy family pave the way for the second male lead's dark, twisted upbringing, only to be delightfully discarded by him in the end. The family fortune then becomes the seed money for his business empire.
Forced to wake up more than twenty years older, Ji Zhen, whose face looks ten years older than her age, clutches her lower back and presses a hand to her chest as she collapses onto the bed.
The unhinged second male lead is still just a little kid. It'll be at least ten years before he's capable of going off the rails, so he's no threat for now. The urgent question is how to claim a larger share of the family fortune. Her youth is gone. Asking for a little extra money in compensation isn't unreasonable, right?
When Ji Zhen first transmigrated, her wealthy "old darling" had suffered a heart attack and been rushed to the hospital. There were so many people waiting to divide up the estate that she couldn't count them on her fingers. The one wailing the loudest was yet another of her old darling's little sweethearts.
Little sweetheart: Thank goodness. The old geezer already suspects the son isn't his. It's perfect that he's dying now.
"Oh, wow~" Hearing the sweetheart's thoughts, Ji Zhen looked at the screaming, playing, and rampaging brat, and a mysterious smile slowly spread across her face.

Her fake bestie flaunts her happy marriage to Ji Zhen, making snide remarks about the discord in Ji Zhen's marriage and family.
The love token that symbolizes true love crawls past Ji Zhen's feet as a green-shelled turtle: Her love is just like me. It's both a cuckold and green.
Ji Zhen picks up her coffee and suppresses her smile.
Afterward, the model couple in the wealthy social circle is exposed for their scandal. While everyone gossips, Ji Zhen keeps her role in it a deep secret.

At first, Ji Zhen only wanted to do good deeds. But as she kept helping others, she discovered that the wealthy families were getting along, the unhinged second male lead had stopped being unhinged, and he was even contributing to her little nest egg.
