This will probably be my next novel. I'm going to let loose a little, so please add it to your library!

When Venerable Daoist Youheng brought a little girl back from the foot of the mountain and was about to take her as his disciple, a ding sounded in his mind, followed by a voice: "You have successfully bound the Plot Spoiler System."
"You found an abandoned baby at the foot of the mountain and took her as your disciple, raising her with care. When she grew up, she developed strange feelings for you and resorted to every means to insist that you become Dao companions."
Venerable Daoist Youheng stared in shock at the little girl, who could barely talk, and decided he should entrust her to the sect instead. The voice in his mind spoke again.
"You brought an abandoned baby back from the foot of the mountain and left her in the sect to fend for herself. She suffered scorn and abuse and came to resent you. When she grew up, she imprisoned you and forced you to become Dao companions against your will, claiming your body and heart."
Venerable Daoist Youheng: "..."
If that wouldn't work, he could just take her back down the mountain and find a good family to raise her. At least she would never go hungry or be cold.
The voice spoke yet again: "You found an abandoned baby at the foot of the mountain, but decided to hand her over to a childless couple who had lived below for years. Her repeated experience of being abandoned made her dark and sensitive. Before long, her adoptive parents had a child of their own and abandoned her in the wilderness. After she struggled to grow up, she took revenge on you and imprisoned you for life, ruthlessly claiming your body and heart."
Venerable Daoist Youheng was utterly speechless and fell into deep thought.
The little girl before him had big, dark eyes that blinked like grapes. Her soft little hand held on to his finger as she babbled and reached out to be picked up.
Looking at her innocent, harmless eyes, the Venerable Daoist sighed, picked her up, and decided to raise her by his side.
Wen Ji gazed up with big, innocent, harmless eyes, while mechanical voices rang incessantly in her mind.
"The male lead found you abandoned at the foot of the mountain and took you as his disciple. After you came of age, your feelings became twisted and your possessiveness toward him grew ever stronger. So you killed everyone who dared stand in your way, imprisoned the male lead in the back mountain, and treated him as your private treasure."
What the heck? She'd only just transmigrated, and things were already this intense?
After Wen Ji came of age, Venerable Daoist Youheng spent every night on edge. He always felt that a pair of eyes might suddenly appear in the darkness to stare at him. The slightest sound could make him leap out of bed in fright.
It turned out his disciple's kitten was just being naughty and had snuck under his bed. His disciple came knocking to look for it, and he returned the cat. The little disciple standing outside his door was proper and self-controlled, her gaze as clear as ever.
It seemed years of teaching her proper boundaries had worked after all. Venerable Daoist Youheng smiled in relief, laughing at himself for being so paranoid.
Just as he thought he had successfully set his little disciple straight,
On a night of thunder and lightning, Youheng suddenly woke to find someone standing by the window.
Venerable Daoist Youheng stared at her, bathed in flashes of lightning, his pupils trembling.
Wen Ji: "Master, why did you stop smiling?"
* Probably a short story
* Even though I'm letting loose, the story itself is still pretty wholesome
Theme: Always pursue freedom
