Consort Dong'e's Path to Becoming the Emperor's Favorite (Transmigrating to the Qing Dynasty)

When Wu Linxi transmigrates into the body of a woman from the Donggo clan, she is still in Jiangnan and has yet to enter the palace. She thinks she is just an ordinary member of the Donggo clan.

The beautiful scenery of Jiangnan has nurtured her well. At sixteen, Wu Linxi is breathtakingly beautiful and the foremost talented woman in all of Manchuria.

Brilliant and quick-witted, she loves reading history and excels at calligraphy. Her reputation for talent has even reached Fulin in the palace.

In the palace, Fulin sees only rough, worthless stones among the women brought from Mongolian tribes.

His stern empress mother rules with absolute authority, and the women in his harem are all brash, rude Mongolian princesses. Fulin has nowhere to place his affections.

What he longs for is a gentle, refined woman, a tender confidante who understands him.

He has heard too many stories about the Donggo woman. He is no longer satisfied with merely hearing about her. He wants to see her and have her by his side!

It is an encounter in Jiangnan.

Among the peach blossoms and willows, amid the lotus fragrance and flowing waters of Jiangnan, Fulin meets Wu Linxi.

He falls in love with her at first sight. This is the precious pearl he has been seeking.

And Wu Linxi finally learns that she is the famous Consort Donggo of history.

-

The Consort Donggo of history was a tragic, fragile flower.

She swayed for years in the raging storms before fading away in the palace.

Wu Linxi is not like her, and she will not become her.

Born in Jiangnan, where clear waters flow on and on, she has a steadfast heart.

If entering the palace is inevitable, then

getting rid of the Mongolian empress already in the palace is inevitable, too.

If she is going to do this, then she will be the only woman Fulin ever loves! The most important woman in his life!

The rivers of their lives merge into a vast sea. They should flow on without end, not be deliberately cut short.

Wu Linxi: Fulin, to hell with the idea of emptying yourself of all desires. Are you really going to hand the Great Qing and me over to others to control?

Fulin: I will wield my sword and shatter every hardship! You and I will rule the universe and command all creation!

1. An alternate-history setting, with original elements. My take on Qing dynasty transmigration fiction.

2. A perfect life in a parallel world.
