Lovesick Lovers

Shen Xi and Xu Yan were infamous in their circle as a couple who couldn't stand each other.

Shen Xi looked down on Xu Yan's background and found fault with him in every way. Of course, he couldn't stand her pampered, domineering heiress attitude either, and kept another household on the side.

They argued for decades, until Shen Xi was diagnosed with a terminal illness and given little time to live.

She stopped arguing. After decades of muddled thinking, her mind finally cleared for once. Before she died, she was going to make Xu Yan leave with nothing and put the family assets in their daughter's hands. Xu Yan and his illegitimate son weren't getting a single cent.

Later, when she was barely conscious in her hospital bed, the man took her hand and whispered in her ear.

“Xixi, instead of making me leave with nothing, isn't there a better way?”

“Just take me with you.”

The male lead has no affair or illegitimate child. He has an ex-girlfriend, but he is physically chaste and, after getting together with the female lead, remains emotionally faithful to her.
