*First loves for both leads / rekindled romance
Wen Yang knew from the start that Qiao Zhiruo was not someone to mess with.
They said Qiao Zhiruo was the beloved daughter of a professor at the art college next door. Even in university, she was driven to and from campus every day and had a private practice room for her cello. She was also incredibly proud, and in the six months since enrolling, had barely spoken to her classmates.
And yet Wen Yang rode her bike straight into this young lady.
That year, the junior who was rumored to have a sour face and an even sourer temper moved in with her.
On countless nights, Qiao Zhiruo clung to her, calling out to her in a lovesick daze:
"Senior."
"Sister Yangyang."
The night the two of them ended up at the police station, Qiao Zhiruo hurried after her and stood on the steps, eyes red as she shouted a warning:
"Wen Yang, if you dare to leave, I'll never forgive you for the rest of my life!"
Wen Yang still left, and left for good, completely abandoning the city where they had met.
Three years later, they met again because Qiao Zhiruo got into the wrong car.
Wen Yang looked bemusedly at the woman beside her, who still hadn't gotten out after being told she'd boarded the wrong car. "Qiao Zhiruo?"
Her junior, whose face had grown thinner and more mature, asked, "Can't you give me a ride if you're going my way?"
Wen Yang was helpless. "This isn't my car. My friend will be right out."
Qiao Zhiruo gave a faint laugh. "Perfect, then. You can either let me ride with you, Senior, or..."
The ill-tempered young lady from the rumors turned to her and smiled coldly.
"I can just out you to your friend and tell them I'm the ex-girlfriend you cruelly abandoned."
Coming soon: Family
*Proud younger sister x cold older sister *Adopted-sibling relationship, no blood ties *Eleven-year age gap
1.
Who at school didn't know Lian Hua?
Student council, campus radio, major events, provincial competitions: she was always there whenever there was a chance to be seen.
Her roommate asked how she could keep going nonstop without ever seeming tired.
The phone on her pillow glowed faintly. The hurt from her huge fight with her older sister was lodged in her throat.
Lian Hua bowed her head and cried, yet her voice still held a smile.
"Because I want to prove myself to my sister."
2.
Shi Jingye was a celebrated host at the provincial TV station. Industry rumors said she had turned down the central station's offers several times.
She was devoted to her provincial station, working there diligently.
On the day the interns arrived, the lobby was packed.
Lian Hua stood among the crowd, her eyes following her older sister as she walked forward.
Shi Jingye, dressed in a formal suit, passed right by her, her gaze sweeping over her as if she were a stranger.
3.
That evening, Shi Jingye opened the apartment door and saw Lian Hua. Her brows furrowed. "You shouldn't be here today. Go back to school."
Lian Hua didn't retreat. Instead, she stepped closer.
Shi Jingye's voice turned even colder. "Lian Hua..."
She stopped abruptly.
Lian Hua wrapped her arms around Shi Jingye's waist and lifted her chin with her fingertips, her gaze burning as she leaned in to kiss her. Shi Jingye's body tensed. After a moment of hesitation, she quietly closed her eyes, giving her permission.
Unexpectedly, the kiss never came.
Lian Hua smiled softly.
"Sister, I came back today just to thank you for taking care of me all these years."
"Don't worry, I'll be good."
"I'm graduating soon. I'll move out like a good girl and won't cling to you anymore."
She turned to leave. Just as she passed the silent Shi Jingye, a hand clamped around her wrist and pulled her back.
For once, the eyes that were always so composed couldn't hide their anger.
"Lian Hua... What do you take me for?"
Theme: Believe that the right person can come along even at the wrong time!
Oh my God, I have read so many articles of Teacher Mao, but I haven't finished this extra chapter. I just saw the summary of Teacher Mao's year today. My expression skills are very poor. Anyway, I am very grateful to Teacher Mao for his writing.
Second brush! I will wait until Chef Cat to write about the reunion! ! !
I finished reading this novel in one day, and I still have a lot to learn. I haven't read any Lily novels since we started dating, and now that we broke up, I started reading them again. This is also the first book I've read since the breakup. Maybe they were in the same university but at different levels, and they had the experience of living together, the quarrels caused by "cutting classes" because they wanted to stay together all the time, the reality of having to make extra money because they didn't have enough money, jealousy, excessive possessiveness, separation anxiety, all kinds of harm caused to each other due to immaturity, and conflicts caused by family gaps. When reading this novel, I seemed to be reading our story. Unfortunately, our story is not as simple and beautiful as theirs. Our relationship is also mixed with lies, calculations and betrayal, so the ending will not be happy. But it is enough that there have been some beautiful moments between people. Maybe we all love the other person at that moment, not the complete other person. Thank you to the author for writing this novel. It is very real and detailed, especially Qiao Zhiruo's psychological activities. Hahaha, it is really cute. In some ways, I'm very similar to Qiao Zhiruo. I'm not good at socializing and don't like socializing. I'm indifferent to others, but I have an unreserved preference for the people I know and love very passionately. I need to know the other person's life, and I think it's best for the other person to stay with me all the time. In fact, this is also a burden for outgoing and cheerful people. Looking at Wen Yang, I feel so tired and distressed. But at the time, I didn't realize that my behavior would burden the other person. Maybe you really need to experience such a passionate love before you can grow. I hope you are well mqh, I still love you.
Don't be awkward little lovers, love this bite [Orange Candy]
The final words are still familiar, hhhh, I'm very emotional, congratulations on the completion [Come on]
Thank you, Mr. Cat! Tasty! I love my sister too and I love my sister! In this age where we only want sisters, I really like sister babies. Maybe it's because I dated a girl myself [question mark] but I've always liked girls since I was a kid [crying] [crying] [crying] This Ruoruo is really cute [come on] [come on] [kiss] [kiss]

Very sweet, both of them are cute
I have roughly read all the columns and this one is my favorite.
I have read another book by Maomao. I have been updating Maomao's previous books. I think Maomao's writing is getting better and better. I can see that the writing style has grown and the emotions have become more delicate. No matter what others say, I think it is very good and I will keep reading. After reading this story, I can say that I love each other very much, but the time is not right. Later, they grew up and got back together. I think this is very consistent with the reunion. Many times, the reason why I can't stand seeing the reunion is because I feel that so many hurtful things can be reunited. Or why we broke up at that time. It could have been better, but in this book, I can understand the situation of the two people. I hope Yangyang and Qiaoqiao in the parallel world can always be happy.
