My Boyfriend Is Bourbon, but He's Pure Black

[A 300,000-character melodramatic sweet treat]

[I've tweaked the blurb, but the premise is unchanged]

Hakuba Ei is a detective in First Investigative Division. He has a boyfriend named Amuro.

Handsome and charming, polite and well-mannered, with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and an eight-pack, he seems like a character straight out of a manga.

Everyone thinks they're made for each other and destined to live happily ever after.

However...

Ever since he was a child, Hakuba Ei has had a special ability: through physical contact, he can sense other people's emotions.

After trying it many times, he discovers that his boyfriend shows no emotional response to him at all. Amuro doesn't seem to like him nearly as much as he claims.

Amuro: "Ei, we've been together for so long, but we still haven't visited your parents. Why don't we go today...?"

Feeling his boyfriend's intense excitement, Hakuba Ei suddenly sees the light.

Could it be that Amuro is actually in love with his dad?!

With no idea where this relationship should go, Hakuba Ei has no choice but to ask his group of close friends for advice.
