The apocalypse arrives, and the entire world is plunged into the nightmare of the Old Gods.

The unreal, once confined to pages and screens, intertwines with reality. The world is split apart by alien spaces of all sizes and gray zones crawling with endless fog.

Some say this is not a harbinger of destruction, but an unavoidable evolution, humanity's destined fate!

Lin Jiu is an ordinary human, unlucky enough to step into an alien space just by going outside.

Yet he can always emerge from alien spaces unharmed. He can even turn around and banish them back into the Old Gods' nightmare, reclaiming territory where humanity can survive.

"I'm just an utterly unremarkable gamer," Lin Jiu says.

Even when the demon king of an alien space pierces his hands and feet and binds him in the center of a magic circle, he merely raises an eyebrow, looking thoroughly intrigued. "So ceremonial?"

His specialty is being completely fearless.

After all, he can't die.

Just give him a few minutes. Once he revives, he'll grab a knife and hack this guy to pieces first thing.

Anders is a little troubled.
