Opening animation, oh, no, opening blather.
When this story finally ends, it feels as if another story is beginning. Looking back and clicking "New Story" on the main menu only takes you through that same turbulent, heartrending journey all over again. Sure enough, there’s no such luck as finishing Fairy Sword 4 and then clicking "New Story" to load Fairy Sword 5 directly. I was actually fooled into believing that once.
Still... this seems like a kind of omen.
Fate begins and never ends. Reincarnation turns endlessly. The Heavenly Way endures.
Only we are swept along by the story’s tides, forgetting those sorrows that feel so familiar. And the regrets.
Because our brief, insignificant lives will soon be filled with new sorrows and regrets.
