[The start of the solar eclipse is unknown. At the western edge of the sun, a small gap is created by the shadow of the moon, which means that the moon has begun to encroach on the surface of the sun. This small gap gradually increased until about an hour and a half later, the sun's surface was almost completely occupied, leaving only a crescent-shaped bright band. The above constitutes the partial eclipse phase of the solar eclipse. The next few minutes leading up to totality are spectacular: the temperature plummets, the sky darkens, the stars emerge, and a yellowish haze covers the distant horizon. The birds were overwhelmed by the sudden darkness and fled around looking for their home. Everything seemed to quiet down for an instant. When the narrow crescent-shaped edge of light passes through the rough valleys on the moon's surface, it turns into a series of small beads. These spots of light are called "Bailey's beads."
