No More Superstition

[Childhood Sweethearts / Extra-Sweet Romance / The Young Master Isn't Really Stupid (Shut Up)]

Because of a prophecy from a master, eight-year-old country girl Liang Baozhu came to the bustling big city...

To become the Jian family's young master's "human talisman."

She moved into the Jian family's villa and went to school with the young master.

Young Master Jian Guangyi was exceptionally handsome, but a little dopey.

She stayed inseparable from Jian Guangyi until they were eighteen.

She was his little sister, his servant, and his talisman.

The master said they were naturally suited to each other, and that her strong destiny could shield him from evil.

Liang Baozhu, who had received a modern education, said:

"We can't believe in feudal superstition."

But Jian Guangyi believed it, and so did everyone in the Jian family.

So when they both got into the same university, the family wanted them to get engaged and live together off campus.

Liang Baozhu: "?"

Hadn't she been diligently doing her job?

Why were they suddenly talking about getting married...

She looked at Jian Guangyi.

The boy who used to seem a little slow now had clear, bright eyes, gazing at her tenderly.

It seemed there was something very important

that she had overlooked.

Liang Baozhu ran away.

On a stormy day, the young master came looking for her, showing up in front of her drenched.

In the end, she couldn't bear to turn him away. She let him in, dried his hair, and changed his clothes.

With red-rimmed eyes and a sob in his voice, he demanded, "Why did you sleep with me and then abandon me?"

Liang Baozhu: "..."

When had she ever slept with him?!

Jian Guangyi bent down, forcing his tall frame into her arms, and looked at her with beautiful, tear-filled eyes.

"We never did it before. Want to try now, baby?"

He pressed her hand against his firm pectoral muscles.

Liang Baozhu was utterly stunned.

He...

He really knew how to get to her.
