(A righteous senior sister, hell-bent on slaying demons, accidentally keeps the Demon Lord tied to her side and raises him
X
A great demon who acts obedient but spends every day plotting to destroy the world)
Yu Zhaotang is the junior sister of Qingyun Sect, the foremost cultivation sect of the age.
Ever since she was old enough to remember, she has known one thing for certain: the great demon is cruel and bloodthirsty, guilty of every imaginable evil, and the sworn enemy of every righteous cultivator!
She vowed that one day she would storm the demon's lair and kill him.
At the sect's disciple selection ceremony, her master smiled and handed someone over to her.
The young man wore plain white robes and carried himself with gentle elegance. "Your disciple, Helan Ming, pays his respects to Senior Sister."
Her junior brother was exceptionally talented and humble. There was just one thing that deeply worried Yu Zhaotang: he had no interest whatsoever in slaying the great demon.
How could that be?
Her master had handed her junior brother over and washed his hands of the matter, so of course she had to take responsibility as his senior sister!
Yu Zhaotang decided to teach him herself.
She tirelessly drilled him day and night: Demons are vicious! Demons deserve to die! Kill them on sight!
At last, Yu Zhaotang looked at her junior brother, who was glaring furiously at a portrait of the great demon, and nodded in satisfaction.
Excellent. Her efforts as a senior sister had paid off!

Until the day disaster struck the sect.
Yu Zhaotang suddenly saw her usually gentle, obedient, harmless junior brother smiling as he crushed the heads of dozens of cultivators with his bare hands!
Still-warm blood dripped from his fingertips, and countless heads lay scattered at his feet.
The young man suddenly turned around, looking straight at the corner where she was hiding. A playful curve lifted his lips.
"Senior Sister..."
"Why are you hiding? Weren't you always so eager to... kill me?"
Yu Zhaotang's expression changed.
Wait... why did her junior brother's face look so much like the legendary great demon's...?!
