Pairing: Easygoing, sunny shopkeeper × pure and devoted, gloomy little inn worker
Lin Zhuo gets dealt a terrible hand from the start: she has to run an inn that looks just like a haunted house, deep in the most desolate forest.
Even worse, she has only six days left to live.
Lin Zhuo takes a laid-back approach to her tasks, figuring that as long as she survives long enough, that’s good enough. She stays away from power struggles and takes in a few pitiful guests along the way.
But how have all her pitiful guests turned out to be people of such high status and importance?
The heir to a prestigious family of spirit-potion makers, the originator of dark magic revered by countless dark wizards, the emperor’s most beloved second son, a fortune-telling master who’s said to be “all-knowing and all-powerful”...
Even the inn worker, who’s genuinely simple but looks a little gloomy...
“Would this let you look at me more?”
The gloomy worker lowered his head and placed the chain around his neck into her hands. The other end was fastened around her ankle.
Only then did Lin Zhuo belatedly realize something was wrong...

The Villainess’s Second Life
Everyone knows that Fei, the eldest son of the Lord of Ten Thousand Demons, is obsessed with Yao Meng.
Everyone also knows that Yao Meng is obsessed with Yu Ze.
And Yu Ze only cares about cultivation and pursuing the Great Dao.
Yao Meng won’t give up on Yu Ze, and Fei Chuan won’t give up on Yao Meng, so the three of them maintain this bizarre situation for a hundred years.
Until Fei Chuan is forced into a century-long slumber by a trial in the Ten Thousand Demons Realm.
No one knows that during those hundred years, Fei Chuan remained aware of the outside world.
So he knows that his fiancée, Yao Meng, never once came to see him during that time. Before he entered his slumber, she’d kept stringing him along, telling him to hurry back and keep her company.
Trapped by his inner demon, he sinks into darkness, suffering and struggling, with no answer to his cries.
Fei Chuan drags himself out of the trial by sheer force of will. The first thing he does is personally go and capture the wicked woman who led him on.
A little scene:
“You can only stay by my side now. You’re not allowed to go anywhere,” Fei Chuan said, his face cold.
But Yao Meng didn’t cry out that she wanted to see someone else, as Fei Chuan had expected. Instead, she lay down calmly and, unafraid of his scowl, imperiously ordered him to buy her snacks from a shop several streets away.
Fei Chuan stared at her with a terrible expression for several seconds. After Yao Meng glared at him, he turned and went out to buy the snacks.
Fei Chuan thought viciously that he’d deal with her properly when he got back.
A male lead who starts out scowling fiercely and later turns into a wronged, weepy crybaby × a spoiled, wicked female lead who acts like a villainess
Theme: Break free of stereotypes.
It seems strange that all the Chinese names in the Sai Wan article are in Chinese.
"Diehuan" gives the author a big worm~ exchange
"I want to be friends with you" is a big bug for the author~ become
"Her Disabled Persons' Federation" gave the author a big worm~ Residue?
"I didn't expect" to catch the author a big bug~ Repeated from the previous sentence
"Fragility and disregard" is a big bug for the author~ ignore
It's better for the heroine to be tough, be kind but not weak, and at least return the favor to others' temptations.
I want to watch the daily life of love and business, and I don't want too many supporting characters
