A Forging Big Shot Builds Infrastructure

[Next up: Extreme Survival [Infinite Natural Disasters], about a retired swimmer surviving natural disasters. The blurb is at the end.]

As the top blacksmith on the apocalypse server of the full-dive game Extreme Survival, and number one on both the server's survival-time and hoarded-supplies leaderboards, Chi Yu thought that joining the beta test for a city-building game would be like a max-level veteran entering a beginner's village.

Instead, the wooden axe and wooden pickaxe in her starter pack broke one after another in a single day, her inventory was a leaky piece of junk, and the System even mocked her city for being a barren flatland.

Chi Yu: Am I supposed to put up with this?

Build the forge, stockpile supplies, and get the city construction underway!

When natural disasters struck, other cities either lost half their territory to volcanic eruptions or watched floods destroy the homes they'd worked so hard to build.

Residents of Yong'an City: Aaaah, an earthquake! Only a few plates broke? Oh, then we're fine.

Later, Yong'an City became a famous metropolis. People believed it would be just like its name, forever safe and prosperous.

AI System: Ha! Think you could've gotten this far without my encouragement?

Warnings:

1. This is my first time writing, and the worldbuilding wasn't well planned, so the later plot is thin.

2. The romance can be a bit problematic, so read with caution! The male lead is mostly a background character with very little screen time.

★ Coming soon to my author page: Extreme Survival [Infinite Natural Disasters]

Jiang Lian survived in a world of infinite natural disasters for one reason: she couldn't stand the humiliation.

To keep the news story "Retired Swimmer Drowns" from trending, Jiang Lian agreed to take part in a bizarre natural-disaster survival challenge when she was on the brink of death.

In the disaster world, she would play different roles, and she had only one mission: keep herself and her deadweight companions alive.

1. Stubborn college student on a wilderness camping trip - landslide

Jiang Lian: It's raining, and you still want to stay on the mountain? I'm driving off in the RV. Anyone who doesn't get in can walk down. I'll wait for you at the bottom.

2. A family that favors boys over girls and has two children - flood

Jiang Lian: The water's up to the third floor and you still won't leave? I've bought a motorboat. Let the brat splash around in the water for a while. Maybe that'll teach him a lesson.

3. Group tour after a breakup - extreme cold

Jiang Lian: There aren't many people in this tour group, but there are more than eight hundred devious schemes. You want to kick me out because food is scarce? I've got self-heating rice. Behave, and I'll give you some.

[There are eight disaster worlds, followed by a natural disaster in the real world at the end.]

[Complete missions to unlock an enormous portable space step by step. Jiang Lian uses survival points to furnish it with a seaside villa, a fully automated farm, a ranch, farming robots, and more...]
