Kenji Hagiwara's phone accidentally opened a green forum fanfiction site. It recommended lots of news about manga, but he had never heard of any of those anime.
Luckily, he could click on links shared by kind, helpful netizens and happily follow new manga. It wasn't until the latest installment aired that he realized his own world was also a manga in the eyes of the forum's users, a manga called Detective Conan.
And he saw... his own ending. Or not. As if he would obediently follow the manga's plot!
But to get more information from the forum users, he needed some kindhearted young fans to share links to the original work.
So, after discovering that the forum users seemed to love stories about his fellow academy graduates, he posted some everyday photos and little stories about himself and them. Before long, he became a famous fanfic writer across the internet.
Meanwhile, Kenji Hagiwara used links he'd tricked people into sharing with his daily vlogs to save a large number of people. A huge win. Though seriously, people really go online without their pants on.
