Dear Witch (Genshin Impact)

Nanzhao is an immortal witch who represents destruction.

But she doesn't want to live anymore.

First, she goes to pester the Geo Archon, but gets locked up.

She still doesn't die.

Next, she provokes a Duel Before the Throne with the Electro Archon, but gets cut down.

She still doesn't die.

Then the witch finds a pure-white puppet.

The puppet is so clean, nothing like her at all.

She wants to ruin him.

She wonders: after she ruins him, will he hate her? Will he want to kill her more than anything?

Later, she turns the pure-white puppet into a monster with her own hands, and absurdly, falls in love with him.

But the puppet hates her to the core, wishing he could cut her into a thousand pieces.

Just as she had hoped from the start.

It doesn't matter. As long as she loves him, that's enough.

Later still, the puppet erases his own existence.

Miss Witch no longer remembers him.

When the puppet sees Miss Witch again, she tells him she has a husband and that he should behave himself.

How can she do that? She's the one who turned him into a monster, and now she's abandoned him...

How can she do that?

She already has a husband?

That's all right. He just has to kill her husband, doesn't he?

That's all right...

How can the person who turned him into a monster forget everything and live happily?

Alice: “Look, what do you think of this story? Isn't it especially fascinating?”

Nanzhao looks at the woman in front of her, holding up a novel and brimming with excitement, and falls silent for a moment.

“So this is what you mean when you say younger men are so appealing?” She narrows her eyes, running a fingertip over the ring on her ring finger, forged with special power.

“Obsessive, possessive, and devoted to only you. What's not to like? They're hugely popular in that world!” Alice says earnestly, flipping through the novel.

She shakes her head, sighs, and stands. “I'd better go, or I'll miss curfew.”

Miss Alice looks deeply disappointed. “Huh? So early? Why do you always go home so early?”

She gives her a deadpan stare. “Ha... So this is the younger man you said was so appealing.”

Theme: Look ahead. Don't let yourself be trapped in the past.
