When he awakened to his own consciousness, the author was so scared they ran off to a mental hospital overnight. Li Xingye then received an invitation from the [Cannon Fodder Self-Rescue System]: complete the true Lighthouse mission, and you'll escape the plot's control and become free to act as you please!

So he rushed back to the Li family's main residence that very night, clutching his [terminal diagnosis] report.

"Who said you could come back? Get out!"

"It's my home. I'll come back whenever I want!"

Just as he was about to kick his eldest brother, threaten his scumbag father into handing over the shares, and make a big move, he suddenly discovered that his whole family had been hiding their true nature!

Li Xingye was exhausted, but for the sake of freedom, he still had to maneuver among them: save people, struggle to survive, level up and fight monsters, and rebuild the lighthouse...

He knew his whole family resented him for causing his mother's death. It wasn't until an assassination attempt that he threw himself in front of his scumbag father, saw him break down, and heard him apologize that he realized how terribly wrong he'd been. And the insectoid bodyguard had advanced into the Lighthouse Guardian. Together, they were exiled to a desolate planet, where he devoted himself to building a new home for Li Xingye.

But late each night, the mute insectoid would wash off the grime, curl his tail stinger around Li Xingye, and cling to him as he asked for a reward.

At last, the desolate planet was green with trees, its people lived in peace and prosperity, and the class system and their enemies were gone.

The [Cannon Fodder Self-Rescue System] finally sent a notice: Congratulations, Host. You have completed the [True Lighthouse] mission and officially joined the "Fictional Character Protection Association."

Li Xingye's terminal illness was cured, and the mute insectoid hugged him tightly, his tail needle curling around him as he asked, "Can we celebrate today?"

Li Xingye blushed. What the hell! You're the one who wants a reward!
