My Derivative Work Came True? [Reverse Transmigration]

The heroine works with the government, and fiction becomes reality. It's similar to a derivative-fiction setting invading the real world, with some anime and manga characters crossing over.

My flop of a novel is getting made into a TV series! Why? I stared at the money deposited into my account, completely baffled.

"Well, if we don't adapt your work, it'll come true in the real world," said my leader, whose glasses sat above deep dark circles. "Like this guy, for instance."

"A bright red fox?"

"Hi!" The fox greeted me enthusiastically.

I stared at him, my narrow eyes wide. "H-he can talk!"

"It's from the fan fiction you wrote after your fairy-tale appreciation class, about the fox and the Little Prince." My leader sighed. "We sent the Little Prince to kindergarten, and the fox works at our institute. Oh, right. That cutting-edge virtual reality technology everyone's talking about? It was Mr. Fox's work."

But even after filming confined the characters to the TV series, extraordinary events still happened from time to time.

For example, a real monster appeared during the filming of a tokusatsu series. After the Ultraman actor received power from the author, who was me, he transformed and kicked the monster back into the TV series, producing a spectacular scene that left viewers marveling at how much technology had advanced.

An ensemble cast, told in third person. Anime and manga invade reality, and none of it is remotely scientific.

Characters and works featured include the Ultraman series, magical girls, Natsume's Book of Friends, Shugo Chara!, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Touken Ranbu, traditional Chinese mythology, history, and Cthulhu Mythos. More may be added later, so please check the content warnings.
