Scientific Volleyball, Unscientific Romance

A story for satisfying a girl’s heart. I may write slowly, but I never abandon a project: I finish one before posting it. So, from the perspective of quantum mechanics (?), this story will never be abandoned! *bows* 1. Suna: Volleyball player vs. sleep-aid blogger, aloof, flirtatious fox x cheerful, energetic fox girl (√) 2. Atsumu: “Female” celebrity vs. female celebrity, vain, pure-hearted fox (before she gets some experience) x predatory, wild girlfriend (√) 3. Boss Miya: Self-employed shop owner vs. heiress to a wealthy family, mature husband material x anorexic girl (in progress) 4. Kenma: I originally wanted to write a cat-and-dog pairing with a domineering, controlling kitty x a sickly, affection-starved puppy. Overall, it would still be fairly healing, but later I wanted to dig deeper into Kenma’s “hunter” side and make it a little darker (some moments in the Dumpster Battle were just too good)... So in the end, it might turn into a brooding, ghostly Kenma with a slightly sinister vibe x a girlfriend with absolutely overwhelming gravitational pull. 5. Beauty Akaashi: Manga editor vs. First Investigation Division detective, gentle and scheming x a lovesick fool with insanely high combat power and a huge girlish heart. 6. Sakusa: Younger brother vs. (fake) sister-in-law, perfectionist J-guy x innocent, flirtatious P-girl. Both little sourpusses think they’re the ones chasing the other, but it’s actually pure love. 7. Little Kunimi: Two low-energy kitties refuse to become finance-industry wage slaves. They work hard to achieve financial freedom and live happily ever after (let me live like that). 8. Kageyama: Volleyball vs. figure skating, two overachievers, fierce on the outside and dazed within x cool on the outside and soft within. 9. Bokuto: An intuitive younger wolfdog who’s considered a top catch among gay men x a glamorous older woman mistaken for a womanizer, but actually frigid (It’d be such a waste not to make Bokuto the younger one...) 10. Kuroo: An ultra-reliable, high-quality boss x an utterly unreliable, accident-prone new hire. I’m trying to write this in the exaggerated comedic style of old-school shoujo manga (It’d be such a waste not to make Kuroo the older one...) More to come, tbc... These are just a few ideas. The writing order is undecided, and the character settings might change too. I’ll do my best to write in different styles. All the protagonists are adults. I’ll finish one story (or at least its outline) and then update according to the rankings. I’ll save Oikawa for last. He’s my favorite in Haikyuu, and there’s a good chance his story will be a melodramatic second-chance romance with a groveling ex (my tastes are beyond saving). Theme: Love is a win-win game.
