Blurb:
The dorm was gloomy. Even the only eight hours of rest they got each week after police training failed to cheer anyone up.
A notice in the group chat: Starting next month, the police academy is canceling two-day weekends and switching to a one-day weekend system.
The four of them sprawled there with deadpan faces. Nobody said a word, but their clenched fists needed something to take their frustration out on.
A piece of gossip popped up in the group chat, breaking the silence: Heard the news? There's a girl at the neighboring university of political science and law whose family is so poor she can barely afford living expenses. Her roommates felt sorry for her and often asked her to pick up food for them, paying her a delivery fee. Then she saved up for two months and spent it all on shoes for her boyfriend!
Bang!
Fu Xueyin slammed her fist down. "Qingli, she's letting all women down!"
Gu Qingli: "Someone kick her out of the women's organization!"
Another message: Heard the news? Jiangbei Police Station has its first female victim of wrap-chat scams, and she's a lesbian!
Bang, bang!
Pu Kui slammed her fist down a second time. "Qingli, she's letting all lesbians down!"
Gu Qingli: "Someone kick her out of the lesbian organization!"
Another message: Heard the news? That super handsome 185 cm sports student at the neighboring sports college does sex work as a bottom on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, goes cruising on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and marches in an anti-gay parade on Sundays!
Bang, bang, bang!
Qiao Si punched the table three times in a row, making the whole dorm buzz. "Qingli, he's letting all of us... 185s down!"
Gu Qingli: "...Someone kick her out of the 419 Police Beauties organization!"
