I Became a Top Agent in Ancient Times

Qiu Xiaoli, an avid celebrity fan, transmigrates into the Great Jing Dynasty as an insignificant passerby.

The good news: she has the "Gold Medal Agent" System.

The bad news: the System requires her to build a women's music group and win first place at the next Nations' Grand Banquet.

With her clever (System-assisted) brain, Qiu Xiaoli lands a job at the renowned Tingbei House on her third day after transmigrating, becoming its manager. And so begins her working life in Great Jing.

Short on singing and dancing prodigies? Then let's hold a huge talent competition!

The instruments aren't original enough? Guitars, cellos, violins, accordions... We'll get them all!

The women's music group needs funding? Then let's open a music hall and take on commercial gigs. I love money~ Money loves me~ Money comes pouring in from every direction~~

In just one short year, Qiu Xiaoli has become Great Jing's famous gold medal agent.

But just then, the emperor suddenly orders the next Nations' Grand Banquet canceled.

Qiu Xiaoli: ??? I've got everything ready, and was just waiting for the banquet. You can't just cancel it like that!

She declares, "I'll make sure the Nations' Grand Banquet is held again, and this time, we'll make it a grand affair!"

At first, all the music halls think Manager Qiu of Tingbei House has gone mad, and dismiss her words as nonsense.

But Qiu Xiaoli really does go to the imperial palace, where she learns the Nations' Grand Banquet was canceled because the emperor was devastated by the death of Princess Liuli.

However, she discovers that the real Princess Liuli isn't dead at all. She's lost her memory and has been living among the common people.

What's more, Qiu Xiaoli discovers that the real Princess Liuli is... herself?!

The emperor, now reunited with his beloved daughter: The Nations' Grand Banquet must be held, and held in style!

At the banquet, Tingbei House's performance dazzles everyone and rightfully takes first place.

All the other music halls: "!!!"

Later, they hear that Manager Qiu of Tingbei House was the one who got the Nations' Grand Banquet reinstated.

All the other music halls: "???"

Later still, they hear that Manager Qiu of Tingbei House is actually the emperor's most beloved Princess Liuli.

All the other music halls: "?!?!"

[The music hall owner, a gentleman on the surface but consumed by jealousy in private, versus the music hall manager, who is extremely slow to catch on in matters of the heart but sharp as a tack when it comes to building her career]

A little reading guide:

1. The male lead is a supportive partner; nearly all the spotlight is on the female lead. One-on-one romance.

2. A lighthearted story about running a business, with plenty of comedy and absurdity.

3. Many elements are the author's own inventions.
