[Stardew Valley] A New Farmer Arrives in Pelican Town

BG + BL, male-led romance, harem-seeking. Even though he's a farmer who likes eating raw food, doesn't know to run home when it rains, and wears strange outfits.

I want to write a story about a farmer living illogically in Stardew Valley, yet surrounded by the townspeople's affection.

"Oh... You must be the new farmer, right?

Huh? Oh... I'm Haley.

Well... You'd be pretty cute if it weren't for those clothes."*

"I've started to like the smell of the earth. It's strange, isn't it? Maybe it's because you're always hanging around nearby."*

"Everyone seems so happy when they're out enjoying the sunshine. I just don't get it."*

"I may be a bit of a recluse, but having you by my side makes me really happy."*

"I think we're good friends now. I can trust you with the secrets of woodworking!"

"Sweet peas are blooming. They smell lovely, don't they?"

"I found you unconscious in the mine. I almost mistook you for a piece of tropical wood! Be more careful next time, okay?"

The Shadow Brute in the sewers gets a Void Egg today, too.

Miao Sheng, a strange farmer from the city, and the simple, kind-hearted residents of Stardew Valley

Before You Read:

* Farming is the main plot. I'll try (really try) to stick to the game's 1.6 content. No mods.

* Every romanceable character reaches ten hearts.

* Chapters are divided by viewpoint, more or less.

* There may be marriage, divorce, and the Dark Shrine erasing an ex's memories (hearts can be raised again, but there won't be a revenge arc). The ending has no CP.

Written for my own amusement. Expect some guilty-pleasure romantic rivalry. Apologies for any OOC characterization. Lines quoted from the original game are marked with an asterisk *.
