Misconduct

[Originally titled "Crossing the Line", main story complete]

Not-quite-siblings | Forbidden tension | Sweet story of possessive pursuit

Sweet, gentle younger sister x cruel, possessive older brother

[1]

When people called him an extreme sister-con, Jiang Xingyan smiled and said nothing.

What would a bunch of people without sisters know?

They twisted even the way ordinary siblings got along.

Then Jiang Xingyan discovered that his younger sister was secretly dating someone.

Caught between going crazy and letting her be, he chose to turn a blind eye.

A blind eye that only his sister could see.

When they broke up, Jiang Xingyan comforted his heartbroken sister.

Just as he always played the good guy after she was scolded by their elders.

His sister belonged to him alone.

She wasn’t someone else’s daughter, friend, or lover.

If she needed him, that was fine.

He could be her best friend, her husband.

[2]

As college graduation approached, Jiang Xingyan’s best friend, who had always admired him, suddenly badmouthed him one day. “Don’t you think your brother is way too controlling?”

“He wants you to use the same shower gel as him, and makes you report where you’re going…”

Jiang Liwu rested her chin in her hand, thought for a moment, then drawled, “I think it’s fine.”

Jiang Xingyan made a lot of demands, but whenever he transferred her money, the amount was generous.

After being abandoned twice, Jiang Liwu was taken in by someone.

Jiang Xingyan was the one who told her she was a gift, not a burden.

As he looked after her, she gradually came to rely on him.

But then, one day, those feelings began to change.

The new bracelet Jiang Liwu had bought fell in Jiang Xingyan’s room.

When no one answered her knock, she pushed open the ajar door.

The moment she picked up the bracelet from the carpet, she heard a low, breathless moan from the bathroom.

The person inside was calling her name

She held her breath, utterly shocked, and fled in a panic.

Jiang Xingyan, his eyes red at the corners, watched the startled prey flee through the crack in the door.

Who said I wanted to be your brother?

[3]

To put things back the way they were,

Jiang Liwu introduced one of her friends from the studio to Jiang Xingyan, trying to bring the two of them together.

Instead, she ended up pinned beneath him, their skin pressed together, their synchronized heartbeats sending the temperature soaring.

Their breaths mingled as Jiang Xingyan sucked on her lips, claiming her breath.

Jiang Liwu stammered, unable to get the words out. “We can’t… do this.”

Heat filled the car, and fingertips traced teasing marks. Her skirt bunched up as Jiang Xingyan looked up at her, seeing her lost in desire.

“Whether we can or not isn’t up to you.”

To Jiang Xingyan, Jiang Liwu was a cracked jewel.

Those cracks needed to be filled with plenty of money and love.

He would fill her greed, inch by inch,

until she relied on him, body and soul,

and his delusions were fulfilled bit by bit,

until he possessed her completely.

#What do I do? The kinder she is to me, the more I want all her love

Reader’s guide:

1. Both leads are virgins. The male lead stays faithful, and they are each other’s only ones, body and soul. The heroine has had a first love, but they were never intimate. (That first love appears and gets eliminated instantly, but doesn’t stop the male lead from crawling around in the shadows.)

2. The heroine and male lead are not on the same family registry and are not blood-related.

3. The male lead is rebellious to the core. The heroine isn’t much of a rebel, except when it comes to defying him :D

4. The characters’ values do not represent the author’s. Everything serves the story.

5. The male lead is possessive first, a sister-con second, and pursues her by force third. (Small as a sparrow, but complete in every way. It’s got everything.)

6. The male lead has little sense of morality. He’s dark, unhinged, and utterly lacking in empathy, relying entirely on underhanded tricks.

The sound of a sports car braking rang out in front of the villa.

Five minutes later, Yin Zonglie stepped into the courtyard.

Ten minutes later, Sang Maiwei came back in through the side door.

Before dinner, Sang Maiwei came out to get some hot water.

Seeing the slap mark on her son’s left cheek, Yin’s mother asked worriedly, “Zonglie, what happened to your face?”

Sang Maiwei’s hand paused around the thermos. She was afraid he’d say something reckless.

Yin Zonglie glanced at her, noticed her shoulders trembling, and smiled even more broadly. “My girlfriend hit me.”

There was no irritation in his voice. He even sounded a little smug.

He’s crazy.

Sang Maiwei cursed him silently.

He was born to be the chosen one, while she was the housekeeper’s daughter.

No one would ever imagine that two people so far apart in status were secretly entangled.

After final exams, she deliberately accepted a love letter from a male classmate right in front of him. In return, he “punished” her for the entire holiday.

[Your room or mine tonight?]

[Get lost!]

[Baby, my face doesn’t hurt. It’s just asymmetrical and ruins my looks. Want to slap the other side too?]

Sang Maiwei’s fingers trembled as she turned off the screen. She didn’t want to reply.

“Click.”

The electronic door lock opened.

Moonlight poured in, outlining the man’s tall, slender figure. Yin Zonglie lifted the covers and stroked her face. “You stop replying as soon as I tell you to hit me. Baby, are you too kind to do it?”
