[Western Crossover] Plants Vs. Superheroes

·

Who am I?

Where am I?

What is this place?

Staring at the reflection of a black-haired, green-eyed girl who looked like a doll, the girl in the bathroom asked herself three questions that shook her to the core.

I was just an ordinary person who somehow broke through the dimensional barrier and ended up in Gotham. My name now is Daff. I’ve forgotten what my name used to be.

The one bright side to my misfortune is that, even though Daff is an orphan in this life, her late parents left her a huge estate. By any measure, she’s a little heiress.

Maybe she hit her head while breaking through the dimensional barrier. Daff always felt like her mind was a bit muddled. She suspected she either had a sleepwalking disorder or schizophrenia!

Because every morning, a bunch of plants would inexplicably be growing on Daff’s estate.

And though Daff ought to wake up after a night’s rest feeling refreshed, she always woke up sore all over, exhausted as if she’d spent the whole night walking a donkey around a millstone.

So she sleepwalked and liked to farm. Fine, that was a minor quirk. Maybe it was the innate farming talent inherited from her past life as a Chinese person, since the peas and cherries she grew tasted absolutely amazing.

But why had nobody told her sleepwalking could get worse? How had it gone from farming to grave robbing???

Whenever Jason Todd, the second Robin, was asked how he and his girlfriend met and fell in love, he would silently light a cigarette, lower his eyes, and sink into thought.

How could I tell them that the first day I met Daff, she dug me out of my grave with a shovel?

Theme: Suffering is not worth glorifying. Everyone deserves happiness.
