Humans, Monsters, and Their Mother

A strange meteor shower brought monsters known as "Samael," and humanity's catastrophe began.

From the moment he was born, Jimi was considered a genetic-evolution throwback. His skin was snow-white and dewy, his lips full and red, and his hair luxuriant (specifically, his head hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes). He couldn't tolerate even a trace of cosmic radiation. He was quite clearly a shoddy specimen, as shoddy as they came. Yet precisely because he was such a rare specimen, he was lucky enough to catch the attention of Nero, a scum seme.

The scum seme put it simply: "Come with me. You're mine now."

Jimi racked his brains, rummaging through his limited life experience, and finally understood: He wants to be my mom!

At first, Nero kept Jimi as a curiosity. Later, he discovered that Jimi couldn't live without him, just as a flower couldn't live without air. How curious! So Nero began deliberately ignoring and distancing himself from Jimi. But Jimi remained just as enthusiastic as ever. No matter how cruelly Nero spoke to him, Jimi would soon pull himself together, then happily snuggle up to Nero again, lying across his lap and acting spoiled. Jimi was nearly warming Nero's cold heart.

At their engagement ceremony, in full view of everyone, the scum seme looked at Jimi, who was shedding little pearls nonstop, and smiled. "What should you call me now?"

Jimi's eyes turned into wavy circles, and he shouted joyfully, "Mom!" Mom had finally acknowledged him.

The scum seme: "...!?"

His face turned green.

When Jimi angered Nero and was thrown back to where he was supposed to be, everyone thought he was finished. Day after day, he would suffer from radiation and genetic diseases while mining energy, until he died.

Later, everyone watched as the pitiful boy of old remained as red-lipped and fair-toothed as ever. The difference was that now, groups of terrifying alien species stood silently around him, their sharp, gloomy gazes fixed on everyone.

Their cells trembled all over. It was as if they had encountered a danger they could never overcome. Their minds screamed warnings that their lives were hanging by a thread, filling them with overwhelming terror.

But the alien species who had successfully intimidated their enemies all knelt down one by one. They approached in orderly fashion, reverently kissed Jimi's hand, and called out gently and obediently, "Mom."
